If life had "PAUSE", "REWIND" and "REPLAY" buttons, which moments in life would you choose to pause, rewind, and replay? I'm sure we would all pick the good moments. Those priceless moments that we all hope to someday share with our grandchildren and them, their grandchildren.

Your first kiss. Your matric farewell. The day you met your life partner. Your wedding day. Your wedding night (definitely your wedding night ;)!!!). Of all the moments I have listed, I have only experienced one and I don't know whether I will experience the others.

There are times when I wonder what the future holds for me. Truth be told, I sometimes get the feeling that the bad memories in my past, no matter how short it may be, far out shadow the good ones. The bad just seems to hang over me like a dark cloud looming in the sky before a huge thunderstorm. I'm afraid I'm still going to encounter a huge storm in my future that will rock my core to the point that I will just give in and give up.

The future scares us all, some more than others. Some worry about where they will be in five years, while others are just worrying about what they are going to be doing within the next ten minutes. Either way, whether you are worrying about now or the very distant future, you are worried. You are anxious to know what lies ahead.

Just like we can't go back to the past and revisit timeless memories or make alterations to the sad ones, we can't go into the future and make modifications. That's what it is... If you ask me, if we could do either one of the aforementioned, it would just take the fun out of life.
